Each year, Polk County Women Attorneys and Drake Law Women co-host events to foster connection between the local legal community and law students.  All law students in the area are encouraged to attend these events, whichever law school they attend!

Mentors Wanted!

Drake Law Women has asked PCWA to participate in their mentorship program again in Spring of 2022. PCWA members who sign up will be paired with one or two DLW students who have an interest in pursuing a career in a similar practice area. COVID-19 permitting, DLW plans to host a happy hour in Des Moines where the pairings can socialize. The primary goal of the mentorship program is to create lasting relationships within the legal community.
