PCWA Non-Profit Luncheon

Featuring Emily Westergaard, Executive Director of the Des Moines "I Have a Dream" Foundation 

Emily Westergaard, Executive Director of the Des Moines "I Have a Dream" Foundation.  The Des Moines “I Have a Dream” Foundation identifies and “adopts” groups of low-income elementary school children deemed to be at high risk of becoming school dropouts. The Foundation establishes a comprehensive program of tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment and provides comprehensive long-term program support for every child from elementary school through high school, with the ultimate goal of pursuing higher education or a fulfilling career. 


The December Luncheon is also the time for our annual elections to the Polk County Women Attorneys Board. Please join us:

RSVPs must be received no later than December 8, 2017. 

PCWA luncheons are held the last Wednesday of every month. The cost is $15 for members, $17 for non-member lawyers and $10 for law students. ATTENDEES WILL NOT RECEIVE CLE CREDIT FOR THIS LUNCHEON.

If a PCWA member brings a non-member to a luncheon and the non-member joins, the member receives a free lunch.
