About Our Luncheons
PCWA hosts luncheons for local attorneys, judges, and law students most months. The luncheons are excellent networking opportunities and include an informative speaker on a topic of interest to our members and community. PCWA also requests CLE credit for luncheons featuring a topic for which CLE credit is appropriate.
Some PCWA networking luncheons are being held virtually during the pandemic. If lunch is being offered in association with a virtual luncheon, members will have the option to place an order for pick up in downtown Des Moines prior to the presentation. Members may also be invited to purchase additional servings for family members. There is no cost to attend a virtual luncheon unless a lunch is being purchased. The cost for lunch for PCWA members is typically $15 for lawyers and judges and $10 for law students unless otherwise noted. The cost for lunch for non-member lawyers is $18.
Cancellations for lunch orders must be received by Sunday prior to the event. Members who have purchased a lunch and are unable to attend at the last minute are welcome to send someone in their place. PCWA members are encouraged to bring non-members to luncheons. When a non-member attending a PCWA luncheon joins PCWA, the member receives a free lunch!
